A few words about us
We offer individual teaching in Piano, Vocal, Cello, Violin, Classical Guitar as well as in depth instruction in Music Theory & History. We also give group lessons for Children Choir & Guitar Ensemble. The school also offers Arts classes. Our professional teacher will help you nurture your talent in the medium of your choice, be it color painting, oil painting or drawing. Serious Students will be chosen through an entrance exam based on a competition style of presenting their art.
A special new program for Ballet Dance for children from 6-12 years. The world of Ballet is a fascinating one. People everywhere, whether they are dancers, spectators or both? can enjoy it. Ballet is especially designed to be watched by an audience, so that hundreds of people can join in the experience. Affiliated to the Russian State Music Academy, the Life in music School offers periodic music exams for all levels of study, conducted by visiting examiners approved by the Russian State Academy.

Community
Life in Music is situated in Sanad, conveniently near the multischool complex in Isa town. Life in Music experienced a steady incline in total student enrollment. Since 2009 the population of the institute continues to fluctuate with approximately 100-150 students registered each year. Life in Music collaborates with Ibn Khuldoon National School. We speak English, Russian, German & French. We prepare the projects in collaboration with Alliance Francaise, Beacon Private School.

We started in 2005, as an after-school musical program, based at Ibn Khuldoon National School. In 2006 LIM was licensed by MoE

Curriculum
Reflecting the districts commitment to meeting the needs of all students, the core courses of the music program are aligned to the standard of Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM), Trinity Music College, Russian Music School (RMS) The curriculum of Performing and Visual Arts programs are developed to present external or internal examinations by the end of each grade/year and receive certification.
Special needs education
All children are gifted- just in different ways. Our special needs teaching way is carefully designed to increase your child’s ability to focus, problem solve, follow instructions, think critically and succeed. We accept the children with memory and concentration difficulties. The students will follow only individual classes, their program will be carefully designed by the teachers and discussed with the parents.

Life in Music Mission and Vision
To educate, develop and inspire students to achieve their full artistic potential and provide them skills to be able to achieve their goals in any aspect of their lives such as academics, sports & art. To develop self confidence, discipline, critical and open minded thinking, encourage focus, reduce stress, improve the ability to memorize, and enhance creativity.
To continue to work in a way to prepare the students from Bahrain for different National and International events. We also believe that the organization of Professional International Competition is an important step to increase the professional level of performing arts in Bahrain as well as a very important platform for a common understanding between peoples, cultures and civilizations, bridging the gap between generations.
Students Achievements
Over the past 13 years, we had successful programs that run around Bahrain. We’ve prepared the following Winners who actually are presenting Bahrain for National and International stages. 1. SID RAMCHANDER: Winner of Young Musician of the Gulf 2008 and first student from Bahrain who entered with the distinguishing mark to Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and continues his career in Europe. 2. HYUK NAM KOONG: Winner of Young Musician of the Gulf 2010. 1st Prize of 1st Bahrain International Chopin Competition 2010 and 3rd Prize of 1st Gulf International Chopin Competition in Kuwait in 2010. 3. WAN RU THANG (10 y.o.): 1st prize of 1st Bahrain International Chopin Competition. Winner of 1st Chopin & A cup of H.E. Ambassador of Poland to Kuwait. Wan Ru was accepted to continue her study in Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles under the tuition of Maestro Eugene Moguilevsky. 4. KAWTHER ALI MUSTAFA: Bahrain Scholarship to study abroad. Our students perform in local competitions such as Etude Competition Bahrain, St. Christopher School Music Festivals, Bahrain Young Performers Festival (BSB), as well as internationally: Kuwait Chopin International Competition, Emirates International Peace Music Competition. Not only in music but also students excel in Art International competitions; Evora 2018 (Portugal), International Children’s Drawing Contest 2018 (France), Tianjin International Children’s Culture & Arts Festival (China), Never Such Innocence Art & Song Competition (London)

Institute culture Life in Music stakeholders formulated this plan with an eye to the future. They recognized that schools around the world are being challenged to make the process of education more relevant. The traditional view that instruction in schools is mostly about accessing and retaining information is no longer valid. In the 21st century, managing the tsunami of information access is the issue. The questions now are questions of learning engagement. How do we make the curriculum relevant to these virtually connected students? How do we train them to identify and distinguish relevant and useful information and discard the rest? The Life in Music Action Plan With that in mind, the Institute formulated a comprehensive action plan, which contained two objectives to improve teaching and learning.
